Rice is India's Staple Food. Infact, rice can be easily declared as India's favorite food. Be it simple Dal Rice or the lip-smacking Biryani, Indian cuisine hosts a variety of delicacies on the platter when it comes to rice. Here is one such variation and we call it Kadai Pulao.
Ingredients - Butter, Green Chillies slit in between, Cumin Seeds, Ginger & Garlic Paste, Chopped Onion, Turmeric Powder, Chopped Tomatos, Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Pav Bhaji Masala, Vegetables of your choice half-boiled (We have taken Green Peas, Chopped Carrots & Chopped Potatos), Pre-boiled Rice, Salt & Lemon Juice.
Heat a Kadai & add some Butter. Add the slit Green Chillies. Add Cumin Seeds and saute them till they change colour. Now add Ginger & Garlic Paste. Add the Chopped Onions and saute them till the onion changes colour. Add Turmeric Powder and mix everything properly. Add Chopped Tomatos. Add Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder & Pav Bhaji Masala and mix everything. Cover the Kadai & let the mixture cook for a few minutes. Open the Kadai and add salt t taste. Then add the half-boiled Vegetables and mix them properly and let them cook. Add the pre-boiled Rice and use two Spatulas to mix the rice properly with the vegetables and masalas. Add lemon juice and mix again. Your Kadai Pulao is ready. Serve it with LOVE, for TASTE!
