Parle Products Pvt Ltd announced to cut 10 thousand jobs across the country. The terms they used were 'Economic Slowdown' and 'Falling Demand in Rural Areas'. The 90 year old biscuit manufacturer experienced a sharp decline in sales in 2019 which led them to reduce production, thus resulting in layoffs. |

With 2020 coming, former president's vision of India becoming a Super Power can only be achieved when the employee feels protected and cared for. The common frustration amongst employees is the poor decision makers sitting on the board of their companies. These handful of so called experts have continued to fail time and again and yet are the most protected people in the organizations.
Another major issue which got highlighted this year, that our country's organizations aren't willing to give opportunities to people coming from a different profile.
With all this said, the most serious issue according to me is masking cheap labor under the title of 'INTERNS'. This exploitation has to stop. Also, companies are often heard suggesting that they need young workforce. So what do people above 40s & 50s do? Where do they go?
We are crafting a future that is not only unhealthy for others but also a trap for us and our families.
The 'experts' need to 'introspect' on their expertise and 'restructure' themselves. After all, the blood is on their hands!
